Blog #2
I chose to work with a photo that I took during this past summer in San Fransisco. The photo shows Chinese lanterns dangling over the busy street of China Town. However, I thought there was too much extra space on the bottom half of the photo and decided to crop it!
After cropping I can tell there is a large difference of where your eye is drawn. It is more aesthetically pleasing with a closer crop and works better with the shot. But still, the picture isn't done yet.
I worked with the color tools to exaggerate the Chinese lanterns, storefronts, and the sky. I also used the brightness tool to eliminate some of the original shadows and darkness.
